Optimize Your Podcast to Convert Tire-Kickers Into Subscribers

For every 100 people who come across your show listing, less than 10 of them might ever actually click play on an episode. What if you could increase that number to 20? Or 50?

This workshop will teach you to optimize your podcast packaging (cover art, titling, description, and more) to turn more tire-kickers into raving fans.

"I've done a lot of workshops. What I like about Jeremy's is that there really is stuff to learn stuff that I can incorporate immediately.

You were like, 'Hey, I'm going to actually give value and not have this be a walking infomercial about myself.'

And that's rare."

Reginald Ferguson
The Fashion Geek Podcast

"As a teacher, Jeremy is incredibly knowledgeable in his field. But he's also very genuine, and I think that's what stands out.

Quite often when I'm doing courses, I feel that a lot of it is about them, and their business, and what they want for themselves, rather than genuinely looking for the best for the cohort.

I think that is Jeremy's uniqueness."

Karen Campbell
She Runs, Eats Performs

“I appreciate how Jeremy made the environment very welcoming, easy to ask questions. He's easy to talk to, and it was also easy to choose him to work with because he's very genuine and true.”

What Message is Your Show Sending Potential Listeners?

Before a new listener ever clicks play on an episode of your podcast, they've already been sent a series of signals about the content, tone, style... and maybe most important, quality.

These messages are conveyed by your shows "Packaging" which consists of your:
  • Show title
  • Cover art
  • Show description
  • Episode titles
  • Episode descriptions
  • Audio quality
  • Music
  • And much more

Depending on how you use it, this can be either good or bad news...

Your Packaging Can Be One of Your Show's Greatest Assets

That's because thoughtful, well-designed packaging actively attracts your ideal listeners and gives them a taste of the show before they ever click play.

It assures them that they're in the right place helps them understand that out of all the similar shows out there, yours is the very best one for them.

But there's a problem...

Most Podcasters' Packaging is Working Against Them

Instead of attracting their ideal listeners, many podcasters' packaging is actually turning them away.

See, before a potential listener subscribes to a show, they subconsciously go through a 10-step decision-making process.

Of those 10 steps, 8 take place before they ever even listen to a second of your content.

Which means that no matter how incredible your show itself, if you're packaging is sending the wrong messages, very few people will ever make it far enough through the Listener Aquisition Process to hear it.

The good news is that improving your packaging is a straightforward process and a few small tweaks in the right places can add up to thousands of new listeners over time.

Live Workshop

The workshop will take place over Zoom, with a mix of lecture, group exercises, and Q&A with me.

You'll also have lifetime access to the workshop replay.

Group Exercises

While I'll be teaching a number of concepts to help you improve your show's packaging, the magic of these workshops always comes from the interaction with fellow attendees.

The workshop will include at least one breakout room to go deeper into applying the concepts to your own show.

Meet Your Guide

Hi, I’m Jeremy Enns, founder of Counterweight Creative and Podcast Marketing Academy.

Over the past 5 years, my team and I have worked with dozens of brands entrepreneurs and creators, helping them generate over 50 million podcast downloads and millions of dollars in revenue.

In working behind the scenes in a diverse group of businesses, I started to recognize the recurring patterns that separate shows that grow and convert casual listeners into raving fans, clients, and customers, and shows that plateau, falter, and fizzle.

I want to help you put those lessons to work in your show and your business.
